In the real world animals are abused in the most cruel way possible. Something that goes beyond each of our imagination. The Dutch Animal Protection wants to fight people’s ignorant behaviour when it comes to people treating animals poorly.
They wanted to kick off donation week with an impactful commercial. What they absolutely didn’t want: use real animals for the production as it gives them unnecessary stress. They also wanted to avoid cliché images of abused animals.
We needed to come up with a fresh new way to get our message across. Sometimes the best ideas are born from the restrictions we have to work with. We decided to do this with the help of a simple piece of paper. Because that simple piece of paper helped open up people’s imagination.
